Solved Does Rust's ban system handle IPs?

    Enhanced Ban System bans IP and SteamID. Does the default Rust ban system do the same or only Steam ID?

    Rust only handles Steam IDs.

    Don't ban by IP straight away if the damage being done is repairable. Instead ban by Steam ID and act all butthurt when they keep coming back. After a while they will run out of steamIds, you can block the IP then and be done with him for time being. I'm not sure if there are any shared Rust-ban lists but if there are you could handle them the whole thang as a little 'screw you' towards the 'hacker'.
