Discord Group/Role Sync
There's many amazing, useful Discord plugins out there... But none of them, at least to my knowledge, have the ability to sync roles with it. What do I mean? I mean, usergroups are like roles for Discord; just an in-game form of it. Wouldn't it be fantastic if the roles in the Discord matched the usergroups in-game? I know it would make things SO MUCH easier for my and my community when it comes to assigning staff, support, donors, regulars, vip, etc. So for instance, if I set someone to "usergroup donor" moments later it would apply the "donor role" in Discord. And vice-versa (if I set someone to "donor role" in Discord, it would sync up with the Rust server and assign them "usergroup donor" in-game! The idea is sounds, but is it doable? Has it already been done? If-so where and how!? Also, sidenote, Syncing bans would be nice as well, if possible.

But i do not think it is possible to "SourceBan Compatibility"? Because Sourcebans work for source engine. I asked about 2-3year agon if they could add it to comparability to Minercraft. And the answer was no, maybe they have changed they mind. Back then they don't support any other engine.

For my specific case, this would be extremely helpful, as I use Xenforo as my community forums. And currently there is no Xenforo syncing; I'd imagine that would be a huge leap for cross-platform syncing. I figured, since there is already Discord implementation, why not have it sync roles and usergroups if so desired? I have my Discord synced with my forums, so it would eventually sync all 3 of them, using Discord as a middleman.

 

This is also something I need for my server. I give my players a "discord group" starter kit when they join, but I have to add it by hand each time. This type of mod would be very helpful to me.

 

This can be done but it requires players to "link" their in-game account with discord, you can easily write up a plugin for this. DM me for more information.
