DDOS attacks on XTREM RUST

Hi everybody,

I come to you to ask you how to do when a lover launches DDOS attacks of 10 minutes on a server very regularly?

As soon as we are more than 40 players or even 80, I receive DDOS attacks. The server lag enormously, it becomes unplayable. All players are kicked one by one until the server is rebooted.

My host has a DDOS Gaming protection but ultimately it does not really work.

I imagine that jealous people with the same type of server crash the server competitor to bring players back on theirs. Otherwise why constantly attack a server?

Are there any protection solutions?

Most server host use very basic ddos protection to none.

To fix it, you might need to switch your hosting provider.

Top Notch ddos protection is offered by OVH, but has its price.

I've used 30-40€ Hosts in the past, as soon as my server became populated I received ddos attacks at a daily basis, there was nothing I could do. As soon as I moved to OVH Gameserver with proper flood protection setup, I had no problems anymore.

If OVH is too expensive for you, check out kimsufi or soyoustart. Both are sub companies provided by OVH.
