Crest decay

is there a way to turn of crest decay?

 

You can turn the decay system off entirely. The only added result will be that uncrested blocks/items will not decay on their own over several days, but you can do a quick pass of the server and do it yourself.

That would be the easiest solution.

 

Also when wiping a server i understand you put the slots to -1, do then wait for server to start up again?

If you do -1, it will create a new Save. If you restart it after that, it should come up under the new save file.

 

still confused xD do i then change world slot?

You have to change the world slot to -1, then restart.

The server will then automatically change the value in the config to the new world slot.
