I'm looking to upgrade my server to a dedicated box. Just need some feedback. We're currently looking at this:

We have around 40plugins. Do you think this will hold 200slot server and how many instances of rust at 200slots if its powerful enough can it hold?
Could this hardware run a 200 slot server?

and it start lagging at 40 players with ~150k collidersi think server is poorly optimized at the moment

Yeah since the last few patches, 70+ colliders with ~40 people starts murdering the server FPS. Really annoying.

It's not too bad. I dont understand we run pretty good at 100players and its not a dedicated solution.

well my server sits at 3fps with 170k colliders
idk what i can do to fix it :/ with fresh map i get 300 fps @ server console :/

How do you check the fps of the server ill get you mine

idk if u can see them because u are not hosting on dedicated machine for me they are displayed on the bottom right corner on the server console

Currently on my panel its 15% CPU, 2.26GB RAM @ 70players. What sorta server you got?

the ram / cpu usage is not the issue, the issue is that at high amount of colliders the server fps goes down to like 3 and it starts lagging :X

Why dont you do the decay mod I've put mine at 2days to destroy armoured and everything is fine and players think its all good for them.

you dont have access to your server consol or? would be nice to know how many colliders your server has,
and i use twigs decay :X -
Mine has 100k. By the time its at 200k the decay destroys and its back to 50k . Then all the ladders and low level stuff is deleted automatically after 5hours. No issues the only issues ive been happening recently is a kernalbase.dll error which i still not sure how to fix.

ill try those settings out and tell u if it helps with server fps

Try the corpse cleaner and clean your corpses. I did it and my server FPS instantly shot back up to 100+.

did it and im back to ~60fps very huge increasy, thx alot
