Solved Commands not found (Oxide not installed)

    Im new to server hosting but i got the hang of it. Everything was fine plugins worked commands worked. I log on tonight and no commands or plugins work other then rusts basic commands. Is there something to fix that? Im authorized level owner i updated oxide 2 rustio and the game and still nothing.

    It sounds like you don't have Oxide installed. Make sure you aren't using any sort of autoupdate or validate setting when starting your server. There was a Rust update that hit last night, so that's likely what happened.

    It was working this morning and afternoon after i updated those earlier. And i clicked install oxide 2 which updates it if you have it already and installs it if you dont have it. But its still a no go. A friend of mine says its the same for him with his server. I manually update when startig server over.

    No worries buddy. The update has messed me up too. I'll stay posted I'm trying to find a fix.

    You don't have Oxide install if the server works but none of the Oxide features or plugins do.

    I do have oxide i installed it again and i have it in my ftp files where server>server name>oxide>config/data/log/plugins. So yes i have it i even double checked. It seems to be the 74mb update rust did about 6 hours ago or the 34mb update it did when i came on tonight that has blocked or disabled oxide from working. I have it. Its just not being allowed to be in game for some reason

    The update doesn't block Oxide, it works fine. You just need to make sure it's installed. You should be using Oxide build 1267 or 1268 or higher.

    You can see if Oxide is installed of logs are updated, or if the "version" console command works. If not, you don't have Oxide installed.

    So went to ftp went server/ruste/server/servername/oxide/logs and they are there went same path but plugins at end all plugins are there went config and all configs are there.

    Those may be old logs. Plugins and configs are not deleted with updates. I'd recommend checking using the commands.

    It says oxide core v2.01257 so i may be on lower version but i clicked update oxide 2 less than an hour ago

    I am having the same problem right now i have updated the server i have updated the oxide 2 mod to the recent version and my plugins are not working in the oxide folder / plugins no plugins are working.
