Changing the chat text limit?

    How could I change the amount of characters you can enter into the in-game chat box, currently it is far to little.

    There's no way to change the size of the chat box without a client mod. The text limit I am not familiar with, but it's there for a reason I'm sure.

    I'm just interested in changing the character limit, currently I have to type many things in enter it then keep typing because of the tiny amount. Very annoying
