Solved Changing names or items? (not possible)

    Is there a way to change the display name of items in the game? I have a server and want to call the Timed Explosive Dynomite. Is there a way to change these names in display at all?

    I haven't checked but it's pretty likely that the client and the server don't communicate to exchange item names, so it shouldn't be possible to change.

    Spot on. The client stores them, so there isn't any way to change them via the server.

    You can change them client side with the language packs..
    They even added pirate language like facebook did years ago..
    Im sure someone could write a mod to change language packs or even add their own and make it customisable??
    Just a thought, I have no idea if its even possible.

    I just know thats the only way I have seen items named differently

    It's client-side, the server has no way to tell the client to add/change them.
