Can't start server after installing

so i just installed the latest version of rust on my server, and it was up and running fine with no oxide or plugins, but when i reinstall the oxide snapshop latest (like i have done a million times before with a rust update) my server does nothing when i restart it my log files are dead in the water its like the server is not even trying to start up, no errors nothing is happening. whats going on?
