Can’t connect to RCON

i have rusty and rust admin app they both wont connect all i want to do is have access to f1 commands and feachers. it says i'm the owner rcon is probably working but still problem after problem email after email. PLEASE HELP ME. PS.i have a server on my pc and it shows up on rust and i have a password.

 

in game f1 has nothing to do with rusty or rustadmin you need to install a plugin to allow you f1 access

ownerid <STEAM64ID> <NAME> <REASON> - If this is not set then F1 commands will not work. You also have to do "server.save" or any time you restart your server it will erase you as Admin/Owner

You dont restart the server this is the correct way to do it
in rcon type
ownerid steamid64 "player name" "reason"

server.writecfg
then
relog if in game

go to your cfg folder find and open the users.cfg file with notepad++ and paste what you find here

i tried adding a reason but it said i am already an owner so i decided to leave it

and you made sure the steam id in that file is yours and when you login to game in the console does it say auth 2 beside your name

no to #2 it doesn't ask me to log in i just join the server and i never saw ath2 or where it should be i think you just solved it! what am i doing wrong

 

when you login in the console also known as rcon, rustadmin or rusty it will say you have auth level 2 if you dont see this then you are not an admin and it could mean you are using the wrong steamid or you never saved the info when you done it by doing the server.writecfg command like I wrote above
