Solved Can skin changing plugins get your server blacklisted?

I asked this on the Facepunch forums yesterday but no one responded. I just want to make sure that if using a plugin that allows users to change their skins from the workshop is allowed? I know that if you do that with CS:GO your server will get blacklisted.

 

In modded- no, if you are on semi-classic server that moved from modded to community with only plugins that help admins to find cheaters and you want to install skin change - yes.

 

How facepunch blacklist you? I am curious i am sure they will ban your IP? Then can you play in other servers, you have only IP ban but how they can detect you? Only if someone report your server? Also i am not surprised about CS:GO. How Gaben can let you play with knife before pay him fucking 100 dollars?

Also i do not think its piracy if you only add your own workshop skins. It might be if you use accepted skins?

 

Yea but i mean how is done? For example i know that VAC is automated system - nothing linked with humans. Facepunch staff checks servers for modded names or can check instaleld plugins on sevrers reported or its all about automatic system?

 

ive played on many modded servers with skins - and id say skin plugins actually make people buy the skins they like as opposed to they get them for free.
Only thing they get for free is the ability to test the skins in game.If they go to another server then they dont have the skins if that server does not run a skin plugin.
Ive played with many people and they have brought skins after using the ones on modded.
So either way its a win win situation for FP.

 

Yea i do not care too if there is skin plugin. I have 250+ items in my inventory, but its good if you add customs skins like me. Made flammable tshirt official but players know only Bchillz and because of this i now can use my shirt ingame. But yea your logic is true. But 90% of my skins config is not added cool skins. There are no accepted skins in my plugin because i own them on steam
