1. **** NOTE - I DO NOT WANT TO TURN OFF STABILITY, IT MAKES IT SO PEOPLE CAN MAKE FLOATING BASES****

i have checked build stability mod and its not what im looking for.

what i want to do is look at a building that is already built and type in /stabalize or what ever and it will give ALL parts 100% so i can save it and place it after wipe and not have to worry about server restarts.

the better stability mod you are required to use pillars everywhere. i dont want this to be a server wide thing where people HAVE to use pillars for their builds. i just want it for some buildings as an admin thing. i have some really tall buildings that i made for the hell of it but random parts break on server restart and i feel they would also break if i save them and then place them back down after a wipe when server.stability is back on.

i just want to be able to set specific buildings to 100% so i can place them later. they are like extra map monuments that i make

***** AGAIN, I DO NOT WANT TO TURN OFF STABILITY *****

  2. server.stability false

but it will set it off for everyone/building

  3. I know that. I don't want it for everyone and on top of that when the server restarts it goes back to server.stability true and then things break again on reatart. Every time the server restarts I have to fix the broken parts.

Add it to your command-line or cfg/server.cfg. NOT server/identity/cfg/server.cfg.

  5. Again I don't want it for everyone
[DOUBLEPOST=1431536411,1431527634][/DOUBLEPOST]this is what its supposed to look like CLICK HERE

and this is whats happening CLICK HERE

i even lowered it to help it out but the stability is just failing on parts of the building even tho they placed fine. thats why i need this plugin. i dont want to turn off stability cause then everyone will just make floating bases and thats not ok.

  6. //DISREGARD APPARENTLY VERY WRONG
there's a height limit in rust implemented like this: you can only build X floors up on one foundation. after that things start to fall down even if you manage to keep decent stability. that was my impressions of how things work at least.

if i'm right turning off the stability won't help you build staircase to heaven, which i think is what's happening on the pictures.

  7. I can turn of stability and build as high as i like. But once i turn it back on and a restart happened, pieces break off at different heights... I'm under stability in some parts and not enough in parts right next to them. That's why I want a mod to to just give all parts 100% when I do the command on that specific building.
[DOUBLEPOST=1431546984][/DOUBLEPOST]And no I just wanted to build a sky bridge. Not interested in building super super high, like I said I even knocked off a few floors to help with stability

  8. THE ONLY WAY
just add the command for the stability here http://oxidemod.org/plugins/auto-commands.774/ ..

  9. So you're saying its not possible to make a plugin that will set the building's part's stability at 100%? Cause another plugin already changes stability a bit.

  10. SO you want to set 100% stability for a builing part ?

  11. Well I want to do it for 1 whole building. So every part on that 1 building.

If I have to do it one part at a time I will but I would assume based on how some other plugins work, you could make it do the whole building instead.

  12. Just tell me the plugin that "changes stability a bit." so i will look into it

  13. http://oxidemod.org/plugins/betterstability.862/

That one changes stability but it requires everything being built or that has been built, need pillars.

I don't want to mess with any other buildings, just the one building. Hopefully you will be able to find something in there to help.

What I want to do is just look at the building and type something like /stabilize and it puts every part of that building to 100% stability.
[DOUBLEPOST=1433157411][/DOUBLEPOST]I would assume the stability is just a stat like the damage that is done to a wall

  14. It is something that is calculated when the server starts and when a building block is placed and isn't an actual number on the block, the only thing I can immediately think of is to create a hook in the method that checks the stability and cancel it when it's a specific building block if you want to keep the normal stability system for anything else.

  15. Tried to make a quick hook for this yesterday in BuildingBlock.StabilityCheck(), but the method is a void and not bool, so returning doesn't prevent the check either (from what I was able to try to do anyway).

Only other way I thought about doing it is hooking isGroundBlock as this is always stable.

  16. Nobody? :)

  17. hahaha Well I think he Needs China RUST. To Build Staircase to Heaven <3 btw.. I need help it's Way opposite of what the Roaster was saying.. I want Stability 100% for everyone i want people to make Flying Bases and Futuristic Whatever... How do i get that? last time i Downloaded the Better Stability... Geez it broke everything.. and the Stability Went down to 0.. there is no way i checked to make it 100%... Am i using a wrong PLugin??? Thankies :D

  18. server.stability false

  19. I LAFF SO HARRR

  20. awe this sucks. I love the server.stability false... but then when ever server restarts it destroys everything that doesn't have pillers or what not.... so then i installed the auto commend... and tried that out... every restart it activates the stability... but the damage Already made. so that means every server reset you will need to repair ur home. -_- this sucks
