1. Hi.

Can someone help me to understand why on my server and on the map I have created ( world size 4700 ) and seeds, when I go to the a rad town, or the airfield, or a monument, I have boxes superposed on each other ?

Sometimes it is two, three, and even 4... I click open, oh another one, open, then another one...

I guess it is not normal but can you tell what can be the reason of it ?

The choice of the map ?

    Thx.

  2. Thanks !

It is strange but yesterrday I had the problem. Today with a smooth restart ( and good set up of better loot ), I did not notice any superposition so far ( but I haven t visited so much yet today )

    Thanks anyway !

  3. It takes time for the issue to occur and if you have people on the server doing rad towns, you most likely won't see it much. Basically, the spawner seems to not check if there is something anymore before refreshing boxes so once you have enough boxes and it should stop spawning them, it just keeps spawning them infinitely. If you let an empty server run for a week I bet you'd have dozens of boxes stacked on top of each other.

I highly recommend using that fix, as you can guess it can easily throw balance off. I have a test server nobody plays on and I've seen as many as 7 boxes on top of each other, I'm fairly sure there is no cap to this.

  4. If you have time ( I am new ) could you tell me what to do with that plugin ?
I upload it on my FTP then I see this line : This plugin also deletes stacked barrels and rad town crates by default (you can turn this off by setting fixloot to false in the config file)

I suppose that will be what I have to do... fixloot false in .cfg and that is it ?

  5. If you're using the last version, the default config has everything at off except fixloot which is set to true (this is what you want in your case). Only thing you might want to do is decrease the cycle time (it's 15 min by default), I'd go for 300 seconds (5 min) in your case as with everything off, it won't be very hungry performance-wise.
