Blocking a forced wipe?

Hi
Is there a way to recover the map and items after force wipe?
I made a force wipe 01.02, probably now (08.02) is to be next.
I do not want to do it, can I recover the state of the game from before the update?

I was looking into this at one point. You could try changing the maps .sav files to the current ones and if facepunch didnt make any changes to the way maps are saved or elevations in the map then I dont see why this wouldnt work...

It worked a while back but they were still adding monuments, changing cave systems and the works so I never looked into the longevity of this,

 

I have been using the Save My Map plugin that allows you to force the server use a pre-wipe map save file. No solution is bullet proof though for certain changes in game and procedural map creation may make an "old" map unusable. Worth a try definitely.
