Solved Block player names

A plugin to block player usernames would be really helpful. We had a player named "SERVER CONSOLE" join our server recently and started telling players the server was wiping, etc.

It would be handy to have a json file full of blocked names, anyone trying to connect would be told they need to change their username to join.

 

not to mention ascii enforcement, if thats what I am thinking of, no foreign characters and such.

Yeah that would be pretty handy too, perhaps a boolean to ignore or allow foreign characters.

Last I checked that version did not work with the latest build. It could be my setup, but will ask in that forum.

 

Add function, deny duplicate names please if is possible.

 

Is it possible to block the nicknames of players on connect - which contain an "empty name" or "/ " etc. ?
