Block Color Issue

Hi ,
we have an issue with the color of our Cobblestoneblocks (all).
We have changed the color to a darker tone and played with that around 2-3 weeks.
Then we decided to chance it back to it's default (it says 969696).
But now its completely bugged as the outer part of the blocks is default and the inner in the dark tone (sometimes even still black).
Is there a solution?

I played with that a bit before. i think the blocks you placed with the new color will stay like that even after you change the color back to the standard. so i think you would have to replace the blocks you want back to normal color.
