Barren maps do not have caves

Just a note.. I appears setting map to Barren will remove all caves as well. FYI.. lol

I checked a few Barren Maps and no caves for me. Anyone else confirm?

Barren does mean Barren I guess.

 

I didn't have any caves either, however I'm not sure either.

Yes, setting any map seed/size to "Barren" will remove the caves as well still.
I only tested a few maps, but it makes sense if you want a stripped down map for performance to remove them.
