Solved Automatic messages

For the old Rust was a plugin that, who wrote in the chat messages with regular intervals.

Please do a new Rust.

Thanks @Mughisi , I Will be uploading a separate plugin shortly whilst I get around to updating the welcome messages & notifications plugin. Just on finally testing[DOUBLEPOST=1414288134][/DOUBLEPOST]New plugin added, autobroadcast - http://oxidemod.org/resources/auto-broadcast.684/

Thought I would keep it separate for the moment as I want to see what performance impact the current timers have for this type of mod. If no issues I will look to combine with the welcome messages plugin.

You can use scheduled commands, but then you need RustAdmin running 24/7.

It's an alterantive, but I'd much rather prefer having an automessage plugin as well.

Unless you have like 3 rules I wouldn't do it. Let admins and regular players to bring the rules with a command when it seems necessary. People use the chat to talk, it's annoying to have to scroll up to see someone's answer just because the stupid rules got posted again. I would break the rules on purpose if i got spammed with them ;p a server that spams every 10 mins is a server that is empty after 40 mins.

 

I'm pretty sure as updated the game is you can display them somewhere else then just in chat. But I don't have the game (probably wouldn't play it) but good luck.

 

I just need to make a few minor changes to the Reign of Kings extension so that it can be released and used on servers, but once the release is available you can use this plugin : http://oxidemod.org/plugins/information-announcer.1003/

I search for a broadcasting plugin which sends messages in chat in a predefined timeframe for Oxide 2.0 (Legacy).

This is already in Oxide. I'm not 100% sure how to make it work, but we got it on our server so there is some way to get it to work. I could post a thread how to make it work if anyone is interested?
