Rust Auction / marketplace

I would love to see some sort of auction plugin like you do in minecraft this would be very cool as people could trade legitly

well, kinda known from other games,
and ,at least for me, missing in the game.
I was already adding a economy system. configurated everything with prices so that u, when u one of the top player, and have so much loot , just can sell your shit.

Economy... people dont liked it much on my server.

and this idea from the auctions could be great, even cause the chat got often spammed with trade requests.
And i thought is this way, , you can set something u dont want anymore with a specific amount ex. 50k Wood.
and then u can add "Wanted" like 25k Stone|5k cloth|1 rifle.bolt
and the player who wants the wood will see then the offers and can choose 1, to "trade"
the mecanic should be like in bounty board, u dont need to be online and the material or selling item is gone as soon as u put the auction up.
more ideas, or extentions could also be added . but i think first the base plugin should keep you busy.

-- The system of course with GUI , cause those "big" plugins. or plugins with much text in chat, and without a gui gonna confuse the players... and it would be much easyer ty!

I have got an Idea about this. Its a bit complex. I have a complete system in mind, you got like a ui which lists all auctions, if you want, you an buy an item per button click. You can also simply add items per command only though as there is no textbox in the GUI. I think this could be great. I am going to experiment a little bit about that.

 

Could just edit GUIShop so that there's an "inventory" for every item, every time a player sells it adds one. When a player buys it takes one, if there's none the item is out of stock. That way guishop inventory is contributed by players.

I think rly this idea could have such great results,
But Hydra. As you say "if you want an item, you buy it"
Remeber that one of the Main things, and one of the differences is that this should be Without
Economy.

Currently on my Server some player build just under his base a shop
And i noticed..... Player are actually REALLY went to this shop, to trade their items.
He dont even get Raided.
The shop owner ( rly just a normal player) handles the shop with his own items.
So right same as this Idea, I even got him now a Special place for his shop at our safezone
so that everyone can reach the shop DD

 

We could make it so you pay with items, not with money.

 

yea and the items u have to pay for that item, you want. ?
should then be set by the current owner like ...

i have 1 C4 . i dont want it.

i Offer 1xC4 and would want one of these things for it :

and YOU, now who want C4 so badly. can now choose what to give .

Id be interested in an Auction plugin like Minecraft,
I think this could be better than the current Trade plugin, because it would be public to all of server for anyone to bid on,
(would make it harder for friends/clans to abuse trading items [teleport items for free across the map])
