1. Hi,

Im finding the current updates from face-punch, Thurs, Monday,Tues are constantly breaking oxide.

Ive had to wipe & reinstall the server after tues update.

Is there any way to batch script oxide permission for the plugins, its a right royal pain in the arse to re do after every wipe

    Best Wishes

There's no need to delete the oxide folder when updating Rust, and you can always backup that folder (recommended). To do a batch grant though, you'd have to do so via by creating a plugin.

  3. I have found that if I don't delete the oxide folder something funky with a plugin tends to happen, like this time I didn't wipe oxide I updated via the serverhost ctrl panel. and kept all perms and plugins.

Ive had to do a full reinstall of Rust for this one line of code that just messed about 50% of the plugins up
    | SqliteException: Could not execute SQL statement.
This just started randomly appearing after certain plugins would be called, it would fail to run the plugin and not spit out an error.
I loaded the plugins one at a time and they all compiled fine no error, until someone type the plugin command and then the above error is generated

Servers all good now so because im the only one to have got this problem. I guess I caused it during my update process.

    Thanks anyway Wulf

Nothing in Oxide itself uses SQLite, and most plugins wouldn't as well. If you want to keep permissions, the oxide prefixed .data files are what you'd save.

  5. That's a great idea. I could add 'profile' data in permissions manager. Do you use it?
It's already pretty convenient but one-click is even better for new admins/mods/vips. ;)

You could backup and copy in the users.cfg file, though as said. That's what I used to do.

  6. No I dont use it but im gonna check it out now

  7. It's pretty handy compared to typing commands but, as Wulf said, you should never really need to re-set-up everyone's permissions.
Backup and restore of users.cfg, or the whole folder, maintains status quo.

  8. thanks. prob didn't come back, ill give perms manger a go
