  1. Alphawar submitted a new resource:

AntiBandit - A mod that alters pvp into zones created by chat commands, designed for RPG servers.

    Read more about this resource...

  2. Alphawar updated AntiBandit with a new update entry:

    0.9.1

  3. Good day! Can you give a specific example of what your plugin does.? Direct literally. And it is not entirely clear why to set the zone of the RAID or pvp?

  4. +1 i read twice still doesnt understand what is it for ?

  5. Sorry about that, As the mod was uploaded about 3 weeks back and started creating over 2 months back I hadn't finished getting the notes finished.
In the simplest statement all PvP action is not allowed, this mod was designed to help large role playing servers not have to deal with complaints of RDM.
For players who want to have some form of pvp action can then use the /pvp or /raid command. How the /pvp command works is as follows.
    PvP
    1. Player enters in command
    2. Mod checks every player within PvPZone1, using RustIO it checks if any player in that zone are not friends.
    3. If there is a player in that zone who are not friends (tests boths sides) then it will scan for players in PvPZone2.
    4. Any player located in PvPZone2 will be register to that specific pvp zone.
    5. After a set "cooldown" time that pvp zone will then become active.
    6. When a player then attacks another player the mod checks a few things for the PvP zone.
1: are both players in the zone (Governed by PvPZone3).
2: are both players registered to that zone.
    7. If no zone passes these checks then no damage is done, if at least one zone passes these checks damage is done.
    Raid
    1. Player enters in command
    2. Mod checks every building block within RaidZone1, using entity.owner and RustIO to check for friends.
    3. If there is any building within that zone that does not share a friend link with that player it will continue
    4. Mod will create a Raid zone at the point of the player
    5. Any player who does damage to another player or entity will then get checked for the following:
1:Are both players (or player and entity) in the Raid Zone (Governed by RaidZone2)
    6. If this check is passed damage will be done, if not then damage is nuliffied
Now both zones will only last as long as the pvpTimeLimit and RaidTimeLimit, I have added a function to the mod that resets the timer though so in a pvp zone if someone died who was registered to that zone then the zone timer will be reset, for the RaidTimeLimit there is an extra feature, it will reset when a player dies but will also reset when a structure is destroyed.

As stated in the mods info this mod was designed for a large Role play server who was dealing with RDMers and this was designed to counter those bandits to allow normal players a change to escape.

  6. Hi,
I just wanted to check if people are using this mod?
If you are, please post here, and I will keep it. Otherwise, I will see if I can close this off.

  7. Hey I was wondering, does this work with true pvp?

  8. Hi Browning, Sorry for such a slow reply, I stopped following this as it was not being used.
I am unsure if it is compatible, however, I am happy to look into this mode again after the release of PvX Selector (Current mod project).

  9. Hi all,

Getting this error when the plugin loads in server:

47 AntiBandit - Failed to Compile: AntiBandit.cs(344,22): error CS1061: Type 'ConsoleSystemArg' does not contain a definition for 'isAdmin' and no extension method ' isAdmin' of type 'ConsoleSystem.Arg' could be found. Are you missing an assembly reference?

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

  10. Hi Paul,

Thank you for informing me that this mod is out of date. I am currently working on one of my other modes, however, tonight I will have a look and see if I can get it running again.

  11. Hi @Paul Summers
I have updated the mod, it was fairly simple, I have also done one quick optimization for the mod.
Please note that this mod still requires some optimisation and has little current support for non-English languages.
Any feedback you provide will be great.

  12. Thanks AlphaWar! I'm getting it added to my server today hopefully, so once I have tested it, I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks again for the quick reply and update!!

  13. Just wanted to check in and see how its going so far?

  14. Hi Alphawar! Thanks for checking, It was loaded and working, but it has now went back to being with the same error so not sure what it could be.

  15. Hmm, that is odd, I tested it with both my version and the version that I posted in check just before.
Neither of them gave me a decompiler error.

  16. I'll ask the server hosts incase something they have done maybe has changed it and get back to you!

  17. Thanks for the update, if they are pulling the version from the download link and not from the chat that will be the issue.
If so let me know and I will update the mod.

  18. Yeah I just checked they pull their version automatically from uMod and Oxide so that will be the issue and if you do I would really appreciate it!
