Solved Anti-aimbot

  1. hey, i was wondering if it is not possible to make a plugin that would test for aimbot when players join in the game .

    when you have cheats you make your aimbot work when your press a specific Key right . cant you make a plugin that would teleport players to location where there are human npc and the plugins forces all the keys to be active . if player hit target with 100% accuracy he gets banned . Just wondering if its possible . as i dont think that aimbot can detect the difference between an npc and a player
     
  2. I'm 99% sure that this is not possible.. bcs we cannot detect if the shot was accurate 100% or i think we can check the "angle" of the players so if he is crazy hacking .. like making 360 720 etc. The plugin could detect tha the angle is changing so fast and ban him
     
  3. there is a hit marker detector plugin . so if someone is aimboting and the plugin forces the aimbot on and all 30 bullets will hit the target . if that happens = ban

    Im not a plugin dev so i dont really now stuff like this . your probably right

    If R-AntiCheat doesn't already support this, then it would be the plugin for it to be added to if possible.
     
  5. i dont even think aimbot is possible in this rust ... bullets are server sided, so aimbot would be only usefull in close combat but not for long range battles.
     
  6. I got some players shooting dead-eyed accurate from +300 meters and sometimes 2 or 3 kills in only 10 seconds on moving players. I have looked on hack sites but can't seem to find a hack like that so I have no hard proof. How can I detect if this is legit?

  8. hacks would need to anticipate player movements + bullets drops + server lags, etc i mean i can imagine it would be possible, but close to impossible as player movements aren't constant, server lags random ... so a huge work on the aimbot for something that would be totally glitchy and probably you could do better by just being good at shooting ^^
     
  9. I'd like to add that lag is a clear advantage for players experiencing it in Rust. OP, does the player in question have a bad ping?

    Thing is when you lag in Rust, everything stands still but you are still able to move and shoot, so it's really easy to land headshots on everyone if you have bad lag and the worse it gets, the easier it gets. It's totally lopsided. No other game that I know does this, it's terrible.

  11. I checked it and you are right, he has average 90 ping when almost all players are around 10 to 20 ping. Thank you!
     
  12. 90 is pretty low though, prob not enough to account for this kind of issue.
     
  13. yes there is aimbot . the aimbot has different options. shoot body shots only , head shot only , mix between both . im pretty sure its optimized aimbot so you dont miss at longer ranges .

    also about the lags and things . even if it lags you miss a few shots still you would hit and kill the target as soon as there is no lagg
     
  14. Anti Aimbot is possible except that it will be very hard on server resources. You would have to make the client believe there is a head or invisible body infront of them at all times. that they cannot see. Only players with hacks would beable to see this player. or even an invisible brick wall in front of them.

  15. is it possible to only activate the anti aimbot when you suspect someone . so /aimbot Playername , the admin and player get sent somewhere he has a fully loaded ak and the test starts ?
     
  16. Aimbots in any game are very easy, but games with dedicated servers are exploited more because the server owners have to throw the ban hammer down.

    Even though bullets may be server sided, the client still sends the information about the bullet to spawn and what to do. An aimbot could spawn a bullet that might have no bullet drop, or move at 200% speed, etc...
     
  17. well this is very interesting downgrade! because in this case it would be possible to detect a hack then.
    if the bullet velocity isn't the correct one or is too high, it could be very easy to detect.

Why don't ye go on a website named artificialaiming people point it out to me before it will tell you what hacks they can do super jump/speed hack/ aimbot with lots of settings/ radar see where everyone is with blue box around them / box finder /no fall damage there might be more now bit a good while ago for me even looking at there page just so I'd know what to look out for in a hacker on my server as I don't need them =)

In this care, if you don't want any hacker make your server 500 hours+ rust, no vac no family share no hidden profile no game ban no rust admin ban, and let other totaly clear players like me play. But believe me, you can not find lost of player :D Clans joining servers and every clan has got 1 member, who has got vac or game ban or rust admin ban...
     
  20. I am fairly new to C# for Oxide but... Would it be possible to track a player's motion and spawn 3 invisible NPCs behind it to see if it shoots/hits it?...
