Solved Allocating more RAM to the server?

    When I connect to RCON on my server, it shows that the rust server is only using up to 1GB of ram on a server with 30GB of accessible ram.

    Is there a way to raise the cap on ram with the rust server? Sorry if this is a dumb question, it's probably really easy. I'm new to this whole rust server thing.

    The server will use what it needs as long as that memory is actually available to your server.

    I know but no matter what its displays exactly "1000MB" regardless if i spawn thousands of chinhooks. I've never seen it go above 1000 :/

    Sounds like an issue with the RCON client then.

    I would be checking the consumption of memory from Task Manager or the Linux alternative, normally it will give you a better idea. I know personally on Windows 2016 Rust will consume upwards of 16GB, although normally start at around 3-4GB depending on Plugins.
