Solved All ownerid permissions removed/revoked

    Hi all, have just setup my server today and all was going well until I'm not sure what happened which caused the server to crash. Following this crash, the server is experiencing a ping lag and also, all my permissions are gone. I will appeciate any form of help I can get! Am wrecking my brains over this.. hahaha

    It's possible that the crash corrupted some of your files such as the oxide/data/*.data files where Oxide stores its permissions. Open them up in Notepad++ to see if they have any readable content.

    There's some data readable but it looks off.. How is it supposed to look like?

    EDIT: Also, even after granting admissions, some commands do not work like how they used to. And after adding ownerid, I cannot use noclip

    The Oxide permissions system doesn't have anything to do with the ownerid command from Rust. The noclip functionality comes from Rust as well, and only works if you are set properly with ownerid. Make sure you've logged out after using the ownerid command and that you actually saved it to the users.cfg file either manually while the server is offline or using the server.writecfg command.

    For some reason, it still would not work for me. I have done both the users.cfg file and also using the server.writecfg command. Could there be any other explanation?

    EDIT: Okay, have managed to fix the problems by redoing everything and restarting the server. But I still have this lag that was not here before. It used to be about 10ms but now running constantly around 120ms
