    Hello,

Not sure if this is a Rust issue, but before I mention in on the Facepunch forums figured I would see if its a plugin/oxide issue.

Myself and other players have severe FPS lag(based on the fps counter on the f2 menu) as soon as the airfield comes into rendering distance. We have tried turning everything down in the F2 menu but it has no affect. Sometimes players have to alt-tab out to close Rust which ends up with a pop up saying rust has stopped working. When they try to reconnect, they get disconnected due to this "k_EAuthSessionResponseAuthTicketCanceled". A server restart is the only fix I have found for them to be able to rejoin.

It sounds like you have an issue with your map, not a plugin or Oxide issue. Perhaps an entity stuck or glitching in that area. I don't know about the connection issue though, but it sounds like a map and server performance issue.

Thank you for the reply. I will post this up on the Rust forums and maybe report a potential bug.

I would recommend doing some testing though... cloning the server locally, removing plugins, fresh map etc.

  5. or this..
    Rubberbanding
Over the past week or two, performance has gone downhill and lag has increased. One of the main symptoms is rubberbanding, where players warp back and forth as they are running somewhere. Andre is testing a potential fix for this today (it is on the dev branch now) so hopefully player movement will be much smoother across the board when the update hits tomorrow.
