Solved After Rust updates, everthing wiped

Basically i play just a local server to build and to muck around. This morning when i restarted the server, it ran through a steam update and started a new rust update. I was like 'fair enough' and waited for it to update. Once it updated, eveything was wiped, even the plugin configs and the map!

Just wanting to know what happened and if i can retrieve my old save files?

Did you download the latest oxide..

 

Is there an auto-updater for oxide or just manually install it?

But how can i restore that old map data? I've been researching the forums and some says that you can't while others says theres a backup folder?

 

remove this fom your bat file as it will remove oxide on startup

Rust is forcing map wipes every month. If you update the server, it uses new features that only exists on the new map generations. So if you don't want shit floating around in the air or buildings displaced, you have to go on.
