About to give up ....

    Where all should my owner/steamid be located on the server? When I attempt to go through RUSTY it says I'm already listed as owner/admin. When I pull up the console in game I can retrieve any of the items listed there in the items section. But when I type any of the admin commands and or things such as, help, kit, etc. etc. I get no response. It's as if it doesn't know I'm the owner/admin.

    Any an all help would be greatly appreciated and if solved will allow me to get some sleep tonight :)

    RCON is automatically admin, it doesn't have anything to do with owner or your Steam ID. Your Steam ID can be obtained from your Steam Community profile, or sites such as http://steamid.co/.

    Also, if you are having issues with commands, make sure you are using the latest Oxide build, 1228 or higher.

    when i type /help or /kit or any other plugin switch there is no return of any type. i've ran these plugins before so i know what the return should look like. yes, i'm running the very latest version of oxide. yes my steamid is valid and in good standing and, public knowledge.

    may i ask, what folder in oxide should contain my info for acknowledgement of my owner status?

    Do you have a plugin installed that provides the /help command? Oxide doesn't provide that by itself.

    Which version of Oxide do you have installed? You can check by using the "version" console/RCON command.

    The "owner" system is part of Rust, not Oxide. You can see how to set that up here: http://oxidemod.org/threads/admin-and-moderators-in-rust-experimental.6520/. Owners and moderators are stored under server/identity/cfg/users.cfg.
