Question regarding latest Oxide update notes

    It says to delete all oxide files per recent updates. Will this be required for Hurtworld admins as well when it becomes required for us to update oxide as well?

    It doesn't say to delete all files, it says to update all files. The oxide.config.json was changed, so it needs to be updated and not all server owners do that normally.

    I'm not sure what you mean by the last part, but generally you update Oxide after each Hurtworld update and any other time you see fit, and either of those times should include ALL files from the Oxide zips.

    I suppose I misread it. I actually update oxide weekly, unless a Hurtworld update has occurred.... then I update it asap. But yeah I thought it said delete ALL files which messed me up. I use Host Havoc updater so, it's really an easy thing for me.

    You should never have to delete any files to update Oxide, only update what comes in the zip bundles.
