This question has been asked and answered over time and again, so we're putting it up front for all to see. What you do with your own server is up to you, we aren't judging you; Oxide however does not support piracy or the enabling of piracy. Regardless if a version of a game (ex. Rust Legacy) is not supported or not by its developers, it isn't changing our stance on it. This isn't solely because of the morality of the situation or that we respect and support the developers of each game; but also because it adds unnecessary support and complications for the community when having to diagnose corrupt and unsupported server setups due to mixed modifications, modified builds, etc. Support for Rust Legacy is and has been teetering on the edge of being archived for some time, not entirely illegitimate audience that most Legacy server owners cater to these days, but also because of the often unnecessary issues break created from the servers not being maintained and updated on a regular schedule due to lack of game updates. Oxide is a constantly evolving platform, with improvements and fixes being applied often, especially with the universal plugin API (Covalence) that has been actively progressing throughout the past months. We are here to provide a means of enjoyment for everyone; which is why it's hard to say no to things like this, but it's something we have to stick to, otherwise we wouldn't be keeping the values we stand by. We do ask that you refrain from requesting support for such servers, and that requests or discussions of methods to allow such things not be posted. We hope you understand, and best wishes and good luck with your server endeavors.
