Rust Ghost Build

The ghost foundation/building blocks that are visible while building clearly exist as entities, so I wonder if someone could create a plugin that would allow players to layout at least the first floor in the ghost building blocks then upgrade them etc.

I'm not sure of it is possible to allow ghost building blocks to connect to each other but this would be a great addition to the copy/paste plugin also - e.g how would this base look in this location.

It could also help new players learn how to build better (this is the layout of a pro builder etc).

 

They aren't entities to my knowledge, simply client side.

 

Really!? ok, pity. I guess that makes sense as no one else can see the ghost image when you are holding the BuildingPlan.

But even still, would it be possible to send a series of commands to the client to place x foundation at x,y,z with rot r etc?

 

You could do something using DDRAW though
