hi, few quick things before everyone starts to post there arguments and errors.... 1. Could you give me an Example what this plugin do? and How Does it work?
Please Don't Say: It Gives Emote. And /me slaps himself silly" that's how it works.... I do Not Understand Any of that in the First Place. -
Well that's exactly what it does, it puts your DisplayName (/me) fat written and behind that your written message, both italic in a light grey color.
So @Hirsty: Do you plan anything cool with it like getting emot(e)icons in the output, so something like a ": D" will actually been displayed as ? -
@Leventier if you look in the plugin description there is a screenshot of it - i did say it was a simple plugin and @mk_sky - i could turn that into <player> smiles but cant put the actual emotes in as the game does not have the graphics i dont believe

Sorry Still Confused... Ok so /me Works... but there is no Actual Smily Images??? Even thru it's Listed in JSON File.... Why is it there??? To Remind us how to make Smiley Faces
-
Also I'm not sure about the OnPlayerChat-hook you sure it get's triggered when you send a message via command? -
Chat emotes are disabled by default due to compatibility issues. You can enable them in the configuration
-
I'm Soo Sorry, I Guess I'm Not Imagining this The Same Way As you Maybe. In My Mind. I'm Thinking you Can Use the "Emotes" in Chat Such as Leventier: Hello there New Comer ":$" and that Txt Will Convert It In Chat Something like <--
But In My Perspective I think This Plugin Is Going For "Text" Chat Fun thin....
Example: "Text": "<color=#f0f0f0><i><b>{Player}</b> {Message}</i></color>" <---- Look Pretty Good In Chat. maybe you Can Add more of thise like this lol...
Example: "<<..<color=blue>•</color><color=red>.¸¸</color><color=blue>•</color>´¯`•.¸¸¤<color=#08088A>O</color><color=#FF00FF>✞</color><color=#0404B4>V</color><color=#FF00FF>✞</color><color=#0101DF>E</color><color=#FF00FF>✞</color><color=#0000FF>R</color><color=#FF00FF>✞</color><color=#8A0808>L</color><color=#FF00FF>✞</color><color=#B40404>O</color><color=#FF00FF>✞</color><color=#DF0101>R</color><color=#FF00FF>✞</color><color=#FF0000>D</color><color=#FF00FF>✞</color><color=blue>¤</color><color=blue>¸¸</color>.•<color=blue>´¯`</color><color=#0101DF>•</color><color=lime>¸¸.</color><color=#0101DF>•</color>..>><color=#f0f0f0><i><b>{Player}</b> {Message}</i></color>
^Type in-game Chat. lol... Took me some time but that's horrible Example. -
Emotes are pretty basic atm so if i typed just "" in chat, atm this will convert to "Hirsty grins"
[DOUBLEPOST=1443253555,1443101832][/DOUBLEPOST]@mk_sky btw the image tag doesn't work there are some ascii smilies but only smile and sad -
ohh I see.. so Dumb people who don't know what : P or : D means... this Plugin will Able to Place Words For them? doesn't that kinda get's annoying.... ya ya we get your putting ur tongue out
-
we shall see - it only does it if that is only what you put in chat....you can add others too it anyway and they dont need to be faces could be (something in brackets)
-
-
basically...yes, you could turn "Fuck off" into " Hirsty wants you to be his friend"
-
-
-
this is a nice plugin. could you maybe add support for the permisison system? i would like to only allow my vips to use it

Love you for the update!!!
At the moment, those that are muted (chatmute plugin) can use the /me command to get around being muted. Also, there is a chat conflict (error message in console & emotes display the actual smiley in chat as a result) with the chat handler and ignore API plugins. Is there any way to work around that?
Again, thank you for this update, and I appreciate the work you've done!!
