    Yeah, it's pretty hacky... but it does work. The chat history will still be bugged when scrolling if it gets bugged, but at least it helps a bit.

    When you open the chat, to write. If you are able to edit and check what is in the messagebox where you write

    it says there is a conflict between this and betterchatname, "Calling hook OnPlayerChat resulted in a conflict between the following plugins: betterchatname

    It doesn't remove them, it just pushes them off the screen with blank lines. The bug is a Unity limit that affects the Rust client.

    It clears the chat so that you can see chat again, it doesn't fix the issue, it's just a workaround.
