Solved Can't connect to server (outdated server)

    hello, i am getting kicked form my server is i try to join it.
    i am getting this msg
    their protocol is 1951 not 1949

    i installed the server like 1 hour ago with the newest oxide.

    nope still getting the error full reinstall doesn't do the trick but thanks anyhow

    The only way you could be getting it is if your server is outdated. So you're most likely installing an old Oxide build, as the latest is not for protocol 1949.

    the issue is even there when i do that i am getting the same error with or without oxide. my server is up-to-date with steam cmd. it boots up fine but it doesn't let me connect.

    The server is not up to date then. Make sure you are using the "validate" option with SteamCMD, otherwise try deleting the steamcmd folder for Rust Dedicated and try updating again.
