Best method for server update notifications?

What's the best way to get updates - emails or phone notifications - about server patches/updates?

They released a patch last night and I was caught unaware. Their website doesn't even say anything about it and I wouldn't have realized unless I saw the errors about protocol in RustAdmin.

I don't always have time to watch my server every minute, but I do obviously want to keep it up and operational.

What's the best way I can keep informed about these things?

 

I'd say the best way you can keep up to date is by following the RustMonitor twitter as they post all updates that are released for Rust. Rust Monitor (@RustMonitor) | Twitter

Capone's suggesting is good, or if you can, get added to the rust server owner community on slack. You will get notified whenever any updates are pushed there via mobile / desktop
